| yeaaa....lOoOoOOong time no blog. anyways...FINALS ARE FINALLY OVER and it's SUMMERTIME and the feeling is easyyy. spring quarter was definately a good quarter for me - balancing fun with school.
schoolwise, grades have been going up ever since i joined SMD...surprising because most of the time we're together, we're drinking together...haha. school has finally become a priority (thanks to chantha's message on my desktop, reminding me of that...remember that post-it note u left on my comp??) and been taking a lot more initiative with everything i do.
my life feels like it evolves around my dam fraternity - SMD. i just can't get away from it. i was social chair for the spring, and now i'm the vice president. my love for the fraternity hasn't baffled at all, mostly due to my pledge bros who are always active and out for every event. but at the same time, i feel like i neglect my friends outside the fraternity, and feel like i never hang-out with them...because i never do. last night's party was defeinetely a testiment of that when i saw soo many "forgotten" faces. this summer will be a time for partying it up at the bars with ALL my friends for sure.

| WHEW!! my, once again, rejected xanga site. i gess it tis time to update bout my busy ass winter quarter...
this quarter is seriously the busiest quarter i've ever had in college - but then again, in spring, i'll be busier..haha. i'm taking 3 classes...bio, evolution, and espanol uno. i must say that spanish is hella fun! i hated that class at first, but now that i knoe "some" spanish, i can handle it. if u speak spanish, talk to me in espanol!! te amo espanol, pero yo nesecidado muy practicar en espanol! <<that sentenct is prolly hella fucked up in grammar...>>
i just got hired to work at the PRIMATE RESEARCH CENTER, working with the monkeys and making sure that they stay healthy and wat not. today was my FIRST official day @ work and wat do it do?! I'M LATE!!!! i gess i pushed over my alarm clock while sleeping and the alarm switch got turned off or somthin. my boss called me @ 9:20 (work starts from 9AM), woke me up then, and with the most tired voice answered the phone. OMG...what a bad first-day impression. at least he didn't fire me. WHEW!!
i also applied for a student run clinic called SHIFA CLINIC. interviewed last tuesday and got an email telling me i got in!! WHOO-HOO!!! i'm gonna start shadowing the doctors and other volunteers this sunday....?? it should fun. during my interview, i told them i was sick of just "observing" during my internships, and this clinic will definetely give me firsthand experience with clinical work and with patients.
@ last nite's SMD meeting, i got elected as the new SOCIAL CHAIR!! SMD better get ready for some crazy ass parties/socials with other sororities and with the frat itself. too bad we didn't have speeches....i wanted to tell everyone my goals. so if any of you guys (social greeks, professional greeks, clubs) want to have socials with the chill, laid back, yet educated guys of SMD, contact me (toguchi@ucdavis.edu).
other than that, my quarter/life is great!! a bit streeful, muy busy, but still have time to party it up and chillax. and if i haven't talked/chilled with u guys for a long time, call me up so we can go hang-out. first come, first serve...haha...JK! i always make time for friends. HAPPY VALENTINE'S EVERYONE!
